Welcome to the Vancouver Island University Students' Union Housing Registry!

The Housing Registry has been created to help you find a place to live (if you're a student) or post a place for rental (if you're a landlord).

The Housing Registry is a robust application that allows you to search or post rental accommodations. Everything you are looking for appears on the Listings tab near the top navigation. When you view the Listings page, any listings with address data will appear on the Google map. Keep in mind that, if a landlord doesn't enter their address, it will not appear on the map. Don't worry –you will see all postings (with or without address data) below the map in a text-based listing.

Through the Housing Registry has now gone national you can search locally, in our region, or across the country to accommodations near any campus that you may be heading to.

This service is wholly owned and operated by your students' union and the Canadian Federation of Students. 

Costs:

There is no cost to search for and post a listing using this service. Your students' union provides the forum for the advertisement with no fees for any participant. For each listing you post, you set your own rental price.

Process:

Set Up an Account

At the top right corner of the page, click the “Signup” button and complete the form as instructed. To log in at another time you will be asked for your Username (which is your email) and Password (which you set independently).

Add a Listing to the Housing Registry

Click on the “Add a New Listing” button above once logged in. Give your listing a title and complete the form provided. The more information included, the more comprehensive your posting will look to those searching the database.

Search for Listings

Simply search for the type of accommodation you are looking using the search bar (or Advanced Search) at the top of the page.
